  Tinyurl: 7 characters, API is thus: http://tinyurl.com/api-create.php?url=http://www.example.com/

  Urltea: 6 characters, has a full DOCUMENTED JSON api that returns the url of dupes: http://urltea.com/api/

  Urltea allows you to add some descriptions to the url ( see #why">this ) but I honestly don't really care about that.
